The payment methods we support today only move money between Pakistani banks. If you or your mentor bank outside Pakistan, paid consultations aren't available yet — free consultations still work either way. We'll expand this as more payment options come online.
How a mentor's earnings work
A mentor keeps what they charge, minus a flat Rs 50 platform fee per paid call — e.g. a Rs 800 call pays the mentor Rs 750. Fees are only ever taken from a completed, paid call; a free consultation costs the mentor nothing.
Questions, answered
Are mentors free?
No — mentors set their own price for each call, or can choose to offer it for free. A free-mentor tier would let people sign up as "mentors" purely to dodge paying, so guidance is priced whichever direction it flows.
Who sets the price?
The mentor. Each call length has a base rate; the mentor can nudge it up or down within a fixed band, in Rs 50 steps, from their dashboard.
What banks can I pay with?
Payments currently only work between Pakistani bank accounts — the payment APIs we integrate with today are Pakistan-only, so international cards and overseas bank accounts aren't supported yet.
Is my payment safe?
Consultation fees are held in escrow and only released to the mentor after the call happens — you're never paying into the unknown.
What if my mentor isn't the right fit?
Tell us — we will find you another. A good match is the whole point.
